Is it safe to send appeals?
Yes. We believe that sending our appeal to the Federal Penitentiary Service is safe. This agency will not be able to summon you as a witness or otherwise exert pressure for the appeal.
What is the point of them?
The probability that you will receive a constructive response to your appeals is very low. But our task now is not to achieve meaningful responses, but to ensure that decision-makers know that their violations will not go unnoticed.
